Mob rat comes to Bridgeport

Vito Colucci, of Colucci Investigations in Stamford, said Monday said he hopes people come to understand that Hill has changed his life and is no longer part of the world that was depicted in “GoodFellas.”
Hill was involved in the Lucchesse crime family for nearly two decades, dating from the 1960s. Director Martin Scorsese based “GoodFellas,” in which Ray Liotta plays Hill, on his experiences in the mob. In the film, Hill is a young man yearning to be a gangster but can’t become a full member of the Mafia because he is half-Irish. He runs with two hard characters, also based on real-life mobsters. After witnessing murders, shakedowns, adultery and other crimes, Hill is caught dealing drugs and turns against his former allies.
He also inspired the book, “Wiseguy.”
The real-life Hill, despite being enrolled in the federal witness protection program, has spent years in the spotlight, making appearances and has become a celebrity. His time in witness protection was not “clean” in that he was arrested several times. Hill’s time in witness protection also inspired a book and the movie “My Blue Heaven,” in which the Hill character is played by Steve Martin. That movie is a comedy and there are no killings. But it does contain the famous line: “It’s not tipping I believe in, it’s over-tipping.”

Here we go again….
Even Hill’s fiance looks like a white-trash-trailer-park-biker-chick. She’s most likely a fellow alcoholic whom he met at an AA meeting or in Detox…
this man is a piece of trash
i live in that area maybe il go and see this scumbag
someone should end his life
Tis why I say , what ever happened to , “Wait till we get you, you rat!!!Now he is “On Tour” Imagine, noone has even taken a fuckin shot at him, I dont think there is such a thing as get even anymore. Its too bad that the last 40 years has created more RATS than anything else. Werent these guys once upon a time called “Men Of Honor”? Hmmm, so much for that or as one of my Irish buds would say, FUCKIN LOVELY!
MEN OF HONOR? There is NO HONOR among these guys. And THAT, my friend, is what makes them the one dying breed of criminals. Sure, it’s better to die standing than live on ones knees but it’s much EASIER to rat out the boss and other members than play “hard ball” and go to trial.
Sure I put down these rats on a daily basis. Particularly at work…to liven things up a bit. LOL (I work with a bunch of cocky attorneys). However, as much as I despise them (the rats, not my colleagues LOL) and hate to admit it… well… something to think about here. If ya’ll were facing a hundred years in the joint on racketeering and conspiracy charges would ya’ll obey the Omertà code of honor? I’m talkin’ about a code that was adopted by us…whoops! Oh…sorry guys… uh, where was I? Oh yes, a code that was adopted by SICILIANS… long before Cosa Nostra. That’s a long time ago…I believe somewhere in the 16th century.
So, now answer that. Would you? COULD you? Ok, how about this. Here’s an easier way of asking the same question. Can you cram lasagne into your mouth and say, “fugedaboutit” at the same time? I rest my case.
Still, not f’nuthin’, I’d rather die standing than live on my knees…wouldn’t ya’ll?
Oh yea…forgot to mention. I once emailed this jerk at his MySpace site and I basically asked him why he was pushing his art as MOB ART after he’d denounced any involvement and wanted nothing to do with that lifestyle. And ya’ll know me…I let him know, in no uncertain terms, what a degerate low-life rat he was. LOL!
I saw that the loser read BOTH my emails (MySpace is great that way) but naturally, he didn’t respond. Oh well. But I saw him later (2009) in Las Vegas’ McCarren Airport pushing his stupid books and Mob Art. LOL! I always wondered why the airport but I suppose that was so nobody would think about taking a shot at him.
I can’t say that what I saw was a Man of Honor. Rather, I saw a broken-down, alcoholic, nobody in cheap clothes trying to re-live a dead dream.
CHEERS HENRY HILL!, BJROSSETTI
Hill is also attending the 20th anniversary celebration at The Museum of the American Gangster in New York on July 24th.
