Police operations against Italian Mafia

Police officers from LaSalle’s station 13 and members of the Morality, Alcohol and Narcotics Squad dealt a hard blow against the Italian Mafia between 3:00 am and 9:00 am on Thursday, June 4. The result led to six arrests and seizures involving cash, drugs and weapons.
About ten areas were targeted for search operations in the City of Montreal, of which five were in LaSalle. It was a major network of Italian organized crime. Six LaSalle residents were arrested. The searches led to the seizure of more than $100,000 in cash, a certain amount of narcotics, weapons, cell phones and accounting documents.
